February to April (post-Carnival) and August to October offer warm, dry weather, ideal for Rio’s beaches or Amazon treks. Avoid June–July’s heavy rains in the north.
Visit Rio’s Copacabana, São Paulo’s art scene, Salvador’s historic Pelourinho, and Iguazu Falls. The Amazon Rainforest and Florianópolis’ beaches are musts.
Plan 4–6 months ahead for Carnival (February) or peak seasons. For other times, 2–3 months ensures flexibility and better rates.
